这本书是看完电影买回来看的，书写的也非常精彩，用词比较简单，电影和书的情节基本一致，书中有更多的细节，比如august出生一段特别搞笑，还有关于校长mr bushman，描写了人名的一些笑话等等。唯一的缺点是排版太密，300页的书孩子愣是看了八天才看完。
